ReVibe Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 September 2026
Effective from: 26 September 2026

Welcome to ReVibe. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ReVibe. They cover your use of the ReVibe mobile app, the website revibecy.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy and Prohibited Items list (section 6).

1. Who we are

ReVibe is operated by Dimitris Charalambous, trading as "REVIBE" (registered business name, sole trader), Limassol, Cyprus, business name registration no. ΕΕ 683563 ("ReVibe", "we", "us").

Contact and single point of contact (including for authorities under Art. 11–12 of the EU Digital Services Act): support@revibecy.com. We communicate in English and Greek.

2. What ReVibe is — important information about who you are buying from

ReVibe is an online marketplace where private individuals in Cyprus buy and sell second-hand fashion and related items to each other.

3. Eligibility and your account

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use ReVibe.

3.2 You may only have one account. The information you give us must be true and kept up to date. You must verify your email address.

3.3 You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at support@revibecy.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3.4 Your account is personal. You may not sell, transfer or share it.

3.5 To receive payments as a seller, you must set up payouts with our payment provider Stripe and pass its identity checks. You must also provide the information we are legally required to collect under EU tax rules (DAC7) — see the Privacy Policy, section 5.4.

4. Using ReVibe safely — rules of conduct

You agree not to:

Zero tolerance. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. Violations may lead to removal of content and suspension or termination of your account (section 11).

You can block any user and report any listing, message or user directly in the app.

5. Selling on ReVibe

5.1 Private sellers only. By listing an item, you confirm that you are selling as a private individual and not as a trader or business (that is, not in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession). If you sell items that you bought to resell, or you sell regularly for profit, you are likely acting as a trader and must not use ReVibe. We may ask you for information and suspend selling if we reasonably believe you are acting as a trader.

5.2 Accurate listings. You must describe the item honestly and completely, including its condition, size, brand, colour and any defects, and use your own photos of the actual item. Brand claims must be true. Counterfeits are prohibited.

5.3 Price. You set the price. Buyers can make offers, which you may accept or decline. Once you accept an offer or a buyer completes checkout, you are committed to selling at that price.

5.4 Shipping deadline. After a sale, you must drop the item off at the delivery partner within 48 hours, following the instructions in the app. If you don't, the order is automatically cancelled and the buyer is fully refunded. Repeated failure to ship may lead to account restrictions.

5.5 Packaging. Pack the item securely so it arrives in the condition described.

5.6 Getting paid. The sale amount is paid to you after the buyer confirms that everything is OK, or automatically when the confirmation period ends without a reported problem (section 8.3). ReVibe does not charge sellers any fee to list or sell.

5.7 Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on your sales. ReVibe may be required to report your sales to the tax authorities (DAC7).

5.8 Photo screening. Photos are checked automatically before they are published (section 12.1). A photo that is blocked will not be uploaded.

6. Prohibited items

You may not list or sell:

We may remove any listing that breaks these rules, or that we reasonably believe is unsafe or illegal.

7. Buying on ReVibe

7.1 Before you buy, read the listing carefully and ask the seller any questions in chat.

7.2 Paying. All purchases must be paid through ReVibe checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The total you pay is shown before you confirm and includes:

You can also use your ReVibe Balance (section 9.3) where available.

7.3 Binding purchase. When you complete checkout, you enter into a binding contract with the seller to buy the item.

7.4 Collecting your item. You will receive a notification when your parcel is ready at the locker you chose. You must collect it within the time the delivery partner allows. If you do not collect it, the order is cancelled and the parcel is returned to the seller. You will then be refunded the item price only. The delivery fee and the Buyer Protection fee are not refunded, because the delivery and the protection service were already provided. This is shown to you before you pay.

8. Buyer Protection

8.1 What it covers. Buyer Protection applies to purchases paid through ReVibe checkout. It covers you if:

It does not cover a change of mind, items that simply don't fit when the listing size was correct, or minor differences that were visible in the photos or described in the listing.

8.2 How payment is held. Your payment is held by our payment provider and is not released to the seller until the order is completed.

8.3 Confirming your order. After you collect your item, you have 48 hours to either:

If you do neither within 48 hours, the order is completed automatically and the seller is paid.

8.4 Resolving a problem. When you report a problem, provide photos and a clear description. We will ask both parties for information and may:

We aim to decide within 7 days of receiving all the information. Our decision on the release of the held payment is final within ReVibe. It does not affect your right to go to court (section 16).

8.5 Refunds go back to your original payment method (or your Balance, if you used it) through Stripe. The timing depends on your bank.

9. Fees and Balance

9.1 Buyer Protection fee. Buyers pay a Buyer Protection fee on each purchase:
€0.70 + 3% of the item price, with a minimum of €0.99 and a maximum of €9.99 per order.
The fee is shown before you pay. It is refunded if the seller does not ship, if the order is cancelled by the seller or by ReVibe, or if you receive a full refund under Buyer Protection. It is not refunded if you fail to collect your parcel (section 7.4).

9.2 No other fees. Listing and selling on ReVibe are free. We will give at least 30 days' notice before introducing or increasing any fee. Price changes never apply to orders already placed.

9.3 Balance. When your sale is completed, your earnings appear as your Balance in the app. You can:

Your Balance is held on your behalf by our licensed payment provider, Stripe, in the payout account you set up with them. ReVibe does not hold your money. The Balance is not a bank account or electronic money, and it does not earn interest. Withdrawal times depend on Stripe and your bank (usually a few working days). If you close your account, you must first withdraw any remaining Balance; if you cannot, we will pay it to the bank account linked to your payout account.

10. Delivery

10.1 Items are delivered through our delivery partner BoxNow to parcel lockers in Cyprus. The buyer chooses the locker at checkout.

10.2 The delivery fee is shown at checkout (currently €2.49 per order) and is paid by the buyer.

10.3 The seller must drop off the parcel within 48 hours (section 5.4). The buyer must collect it within the delivery partner's collection period (section 7.4).

10.4 If a parcel is lost or damaged by the delivery partner, the buyer is protected under Buyer Protection (section 8). ReVibe will deal with the delivery partner.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1 We may remove content, limit features, temporarily suspend, or permanently close an account if we reasonably believe that the user:

Our response will be proportionate to how serious the problem is, how often it happened, and whether the user did it on purpose.

11.2 Except where urgent action is needed (for example fraud, illegal content or a safety risk), we will warn you first. We will always give you a statement of reasons (section 12.4).

11.3 If your account is suspended or closed, open orders will be handled fairly. Buyers will be refunded or orders completed, and sellers will receive any amounts owed to them, unless the law requires us to withhold them (for example, suspected fraud).

11.4 You can close your account at any time in the app, unless you have an order in progress. In that case, you can close it once the order is completed or cancelled.

12. Moderation, reports and appeals (Digital Services Act)

12.1 How we moderate. We use a combination of:

Accounts are never closed by automated means alone.

12.2 Reporting illegal content. Anyone, including people without an account, can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these Terms. Use the Report button in the app, or email support@revibecy.com. Please include:

We aim to act on reports within 24 hours. We will tell you what we decided.

12.3 Illegal content that puts lives or safety at risk. If we become aware of information suggesting that a criminal offence threatening someone's life or safety has happened, is happening or is likely to happen, we will report it to the police.

12.4 Statement of reasons. If we remove or restrict your content, suspend payments, or suspend or close your account, we will tell you clearly and specifically:

12.5 Appeals. You can appeal any moderation decision within 6 months by replying to our notice or emailing support@revibecy.com. A person who was not involved in the original decision will review it. We will reverse the decision without delay if it was wrong.

12.6 Out-of-court dispute settlement. You can also refer moderation disputes to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Art. 21 of the Digital Services Act.

13. Your content

13.1 You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post ("Your Content").

13.2 You give ReVibe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, resize, reproduce and distribute Your Content, but only to operate, improve and promote the Service. This includes showing your listings in the app, on revibecy.com and in ReVibe's social media posts. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are needed for legal reasons or that others have already shared.

13.3 You confirm that you have the right to post Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

14. Reviews

After a completed order, the buyer and seller can review each other. Reviews must be honest, relevant to the transaction, and follow section 4. We do not edit reviews, and we don't remove them just because they are negative. We will remove reviews that break these Terms or the law. We do not accept payment for reviews.

15. Liability

15.1 Between buyers and sellers. Sellers are responsible for their items and listings. Buyers are responsible for paying and collecting their items. ReVibe is not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of items, or for the accuracy of listings. However, Buyer Protection (section 8) applies as described.

15.2 ReVibe's liability. We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for:

Where the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid through ReVibe for that order. In all other cases, it is limited to €100.

15.3 What we never exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

15.4 Availability. We work to keep ReVibe available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, pause or discontinue features. If we permanently close the Service, we will give reasonable notice and complete or refund open orders.

16. Disputes and governing law

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.

16.2 Please contact us first at support@revibecy.com. Most problems can be solved quickly.

16.3 If we cannot resolve a dispute about ReVibe's own services, you can contact the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service (Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry) or an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in Cyprus.

16.4 The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country where you live.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example because of new features or changes in the law. We will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days before material changes take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before they take effect. If you keep using ReVibe after that date, you accept the new Terms. Changes do not apply to orders already placed.
